I am, Christopher Fox a proud public school educator, now entering my 9th year of teaching. It was Dr. Sharon McCray Flowers who influenced this dream and help set me on my collegiate path (or course of study) during my Freshman seminar class at Fayetteville State University. Her influence as a professor has been one that has remained with me both personally and professionally. It is important to have a voice that speaks with authority, respect, and compassion - while striving to achieve any common goal. These three characteristics Dr. Flowers definitely embodies. I am proud to support Dr. Flowers, among all of her notable accomplishments, but especially in her candidacy for school board member. Voting for Dr. Sharon McCray Flowers creates positive change and quality representation!

As a parent of children in Clay County schools, there’s no candidate I trust more than Dr. Flowers to shift the school board’s focus away from political theater and to the well-being of our students, teachers and administrators. — Rev. Dr. Brandon Frick (PCUSA)
District 2 Resident & Parent
For my family, the choice for Clay County School Board District 2 is clear: Dr. Sharon Flowers.
Dr. Flowers is focused on ensuring funds are used to benefit Clay County students. She is driven to bring reading levels up to grade level and ensure high school students are prepared for their next steps after graduation. Dr. Flowers plans on supporting students by prioritizing filling support staff roles, which will increase the ability of students to have their needs met. She is on a mission to support our teachers by making sure they have the resources needed to run a classroom. These three steps will benefit our students' reading levels and prepare our high school students for life after graduation.
I am confident in her professional abilities and talents, which she developed and cultivated over twenty years in the U.S. Army. She expanded her skills after retiring from the military by earning her Masters in Education. She knows how to collaborate and work together for a common good, a necessary skill for a school board member. Dr. Sharon Flowers is the advocate my children need to represent them as the District 2 School Board Member for Clay County.
